Hi PitPat! How are you? Did you get your drain out yet? Isn't that disgusting? I HATED that part. Well I hope you're not in any more pain. I haven't weighed myself in a couple days. I've been avoiding the scale since I got home. Just because of all the water weight they said I'd gain. Happy post sleeve! Keep in touch!

Hello to everyone!!!!! I am sleeved! The surgery went well on Tuesday. I slept most of the day. They got me up once to walk but quickly found out that I had too much medicine in my system. I was seeing two of everything! What a weird feeling!!!! I came home Wedesday evening. So much better at home. My worst pain was the dreaded gas!!! Awful!! But it gets better with each "passing" day. I still have the drainage tubes. This is a bummer but I will have them removed on Tuesday. All in all, it has not been as bad as I thought it would be.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers. It means so much. And best of everything to everyone and your upcoming surgeries.

Not long now,hopes you have a smooth run, take your time, and listen to the hospital staff, if in pain ask for help, hopes your first days are gentle, hugs you tight, remember your control breathing, it helps and walk as much and as often as you can to ease numb bum or sore bum, lol.

Your surgery is coming up!! Good luck to you and remember to ask the nurse for the sponges that are flavored after surgery. They are great for moistening your lips and mouth!! Good luck!!
