Hi there..I am exactly one month today..I have only lost 23 lbs..At my two week Doctors Apt I had lost 21 lbs. I had my one month yesterday and in the last two weeks I have only lost 2 lbs. Needless to say, I was hoping it was at least 4 or 5 more lbs. The doctor explained to me that our bodies in the first two weeks is when we are going to drop the most weight. He said at that point we should look to lose 1 1/2 to 2 lbs every week..he said probably what is happening is my body is fighting the weight loss right now going into starvation mode..he said this should pass and my body will give in eventually...not what I wanted to here..but I guess basically I just need to be patient..One big important thing that he tells his patients is to make sure you are not drinking while eating a meal or snack and not to drink 15 min before a meal and wait about 45 minutes to drink after eating a meal..you will digest your food better instead of the liquid flushing the food out of your stomach quicker causing you to get hungry and eat more often..good luck on your journey!
