Feels great to be back in the 200s but I still got a ways to go. I'm not stopping now lol this is pleasantly exciting and life changing at the same time, I thank God each and everyday that I make the right decision. I'm beginning to love myself again and it's amazing, nothing can stop me now.

I am reading a lot and talking to a friend who had surgery so I am getting prepared to give it up! How much weight do you have to loose? I am 227lbs now and only 5'1" so I have about 100 lbs to loose! I am excited but nervous about the surgery and about giving up so many things. I started w sodas b/c that is a real weakness but I am almost one week off, so that's a first step! What has been the hardest for you so far?

So encouraged to see your post today! I am about 6 weeks from my surgery and love to see these positive comments. So do you feel "recovered" and ready to go back to work. I wonder how long I will have to stay off work... I noticed someone mentioned a closed group on facebook? Did you join and has that been helpful? Hope things continue to go well for you!

Omg I had my surgery almost 2 weeks ago and already lost 30 lbs exact, I thought the hospitals scale was off so I used my sisters and brothers and it was correct. I am so flabbergasted but at the same time crazy excited, God is indeed an awesome God.

I can honestly say what a beautiful morning it is, not only outside but also within myself, to wake up and not be hungry and head straight for the refrigerator is so great. I'm loving this and I'm so happy God has blessed me on becoming a sleever.

I can see that being true. I do eat a lot of chicken (baked or grilled). If and when I eat, chicken is the main thing I crave. I just bought some Biotin and I will try and increase my protein. Thanx!

Feel so good, really adapting to the sleeve well. There are gonna be so many tests that will try your nerves and mind but we gotta look past them and pass with flying colors. I went to Dunkin Donuts to pick my mom up her 25 munchkins and hot coffee for her and I was actually surprised that I wasnt tempted at all, if that's not self control I don't know what is. I'm happy about where I'm going and I'm finally on my way with family and friends behind me all the way. I'm just getting started and there's no way I'm looking back now, haha.
