Hey lady I am new to this site but hopefully i can get this right. I see you have already had the surgery, was it bad? what are things I should look for? questions i should ask the doctor, how many days where you in the hospital?

Hi Diana!
I'm so happy to hear that you are getting back into the swing of things!
I am seeing some great results, however going through a little rough patch at the moment. I am really struggling on the liquid diet
Most things seem to give me a type of 'gas blockage', and others just go in and come straight back out the other end! (Sorry for tmi there!)
So I have become frustrated while I try and figure out what it is that I am able to drink.
I'm counting down the days til I start the puréed diet, just so I can have the feeling of food in my mouth again! I've been feeling a little depressed, but my Husband is a great help and is trying to do what he can to make the journey as comfortable as possible for me!

Hi Diana .... All is great ... thanks or asking.
I am now eating and drinking exactly the same as pre-op.
i am so lad I took the 6 months to change my lifestyle before I had surgery.
Now losing 1-2 pounds a week and really happy with it.
Hope all is good with you?

Thank you! I can't sleep yet because of nerves. Hopefully I'll get some sleep soon so I can be ready for the morning.

Our day is almost here!! (Closer for me than you, but still sooo close!!) the nerves have definitely kicked in right now and are slowly outweighing the excitement! My bag is packed and I'm ready to go.. I'm certain I have prepared myself enough and will try and catch plenty of sleep tonight!!
