- I have had a gastric sleeve.
- Biography:
- I'm 39 (almost 40) & mom to lovely almost 6 y/o twin b/g. Ive always been a careful eater, tried weight loss meds, programs & gyms to no avail.
I don't know what it's like to pull on jeans & a tank top, wear a bathing suit, etc. my health has been getting progressively worse. I've been thinking off the sleeve for a year & my last annual revealed enflamed liver (not a drinker), high BP, borderline diabetic this sealed the decision.

I choked (mentally)...

It has been a day...! sad day, stressed day, maybe now renewed..
So today I was supposed to go for my pre-admission work. Yesterday I was very sure that I'm doing this and wrote a nice blog. This morning I woke up with a migraine. Dropped kids at school and started off to the hospital and then had to pull over. I called my husband at work in a panic... major anxiety attack and freaking out. Migraine was not helping. Fasting not helping migraine.
I ended up going (not even planning

Well I've made my deposit, have my pre-op tomorrow, psych eval and med clearance next week and entry with my name on the OR board for May 14th.
This has all happened in less than a week.
Last weekend I was a wreck. My emotions were all over the place and thankfully everyone here gave me great support.
Yesterday I panicked and decided not to do this. I went to a health food store and bought protein shakes, a cleanse, made up a menu and was going to do this the
