No surgery date yet. I have to go to the informational meeting which is not until July 23rd. I am trying to learn as much as I can about eating after the surgery. I am worried about all the planning ahead of time for what you eat each day. I am so used to just rushing and picking up meals on the run. Also, I am always so thristy which is probably probably from all my current medicines so I am used to taking in large amounts of water which I don't think I will be able to do after the surgery. I am nervous about this process but I am determined to be successful. Good luck and keep us updated. Take care, Lisa

Hello Lisa- as of yesterday 7 weeks since my surgery I have lost 29 lbs. so far it's been ok. Got sick a couple of times because I ate to fast and couldn't burp. So I drank some juice thinking that would help, but it didn't. Since then I know when to stop eating. Do u have a surgery date yet?

How is everything going for you? I hope you are progressing like you thought u would.I have to wait until july 23rd to go to the informational meeting held at middlesex hospital. I missed the june session by one day! Let us know how you are doing.

I think you mean 3 weeks if your surgery date was 4/30. 16 lbs in 3 weeks is 5 per week. I would be really happy with that!

Hello Every one! Day six after surgery. Going okay, just getting tired of the protein drinks. I have vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and creamsicle. I keeping changing them just to try to get them down. Can't wait until I can have some tuna

Thanks Miss Jay- little nervous for tomorrow. Heading for the hospital at 8:00 am. So glad my surgery is not late in the day.
