Well after a week long slall i finally hit 259lbs. Thats almost 40lbs in a month and 75lbs from my heaviest. My BMI has gone from 46 down to 36. Pretty happy with that. Hope all is going well with you. I woke up with a fever Tuesday morning so they put me on some high dollar antibiotics. Doing better now. Not sure what caused it.

Yeah, its a strange process for sure. Ive been enjoying the refried beans at the new Taco Casa in Brownwood. Past fews days been eating shaved roast beef and turkey...Had about a 1/2 of chopped BBQ the other day that was amazing....

Post op day 3- finally back home. I'm feeling better than I thought I would. It's amazing how your thoughts of food just vanish. The pain is easily controlled with the Lortab elixer. Only problem is that nobody has it in stock. I had about 1/4 cup of broth thus morning and just had the same for dinner. Gas hasn't been an issue so far. No stitches, no tape, no bandages, no drain. I am satisfied I made the right decision.
