Constipation??

I was told that constipation happens after surgery but I had no idea it would be this bad. I tried all the things that were listed to try but today I woke up and its worse then ever. I feel like Im going to throw up and all Ive put in my body today is my medications. Im Three weeks post op today. Any one know how to fix this issue??

Im ten days post op. Im doing pretty good at eating and taking my medications but I still have this sharp pain on my right side. Im pretty sure that if it were anything wrong with my stomach it would be on my left side but since its been happening for the whole weekend now Im getting worried, Could it just be muscle pain from the incision that I have on my right side or should I be alarmed.
