About march13
- Sleeved or not sleeved:
- I have had a gastric sleeve.
- Biography:
- My journey started back in August 10, 2009 when I had the Lap-Band procedure. I had nothing but problems with it as well as my weight going up and down. After losing all hope I decided to change doctors. Yes, I changed my general doctor and the weight loss doctor. It just felt that every time I went to see them, it always turned out to be my fault that the Lap-Band was not working. Then in January 2013 I went to see Dr. K in Gleendale, CA. The best decision I ever made. He is a wonderful doctor that explained to me why the Lap-Band was not working for me. I already had a year suffering from severe acid reflex and excruciating back pain. Then as soon as he took out all the fluid from my band the reflex stopped and my back pain got better. He gave me options and suggested the Sleeve. It did not take me long to decide to move forward. I did all the requirements as well as writing a letter to the Insurance Company letting them know all the struggles I was facing with the Lap-Band and for them to consider a revision to the sleeve. Once we submitted everything to the Insurance I was approved in a week. I must have written up a dam good letter. : ) I am just happy I found a great doctor that made this happens.

Hello my friends so yes in the past couple of days I have been going back and forth with one pound. But the best part is not seeing 200 on the scale anymore. I still have some lows but I try to keep positive and try not to give up. I keep exercising mostly fast walking and jogging with my personal trainer my husband. Have to love the man for always pushing me to do a little more every day. Yesterday we were out for 1 hr. 40 min. I have also started logging in my entire food intake on myfitnesspal.

So it has been 68 days since my surgery and I have only lost 25 pounds. I lost my first 20 pounds in the first month but after that I have only lost 5 pounds in 6 weeks. It feels like I have been stalling at 200 pounds for weeks. I am constantly asking myself if I am the only one not losing weight. I read so many posts of people that are constantly loosing. Even of the ones that don’t even follow the rules and the one person that regrets having it but is still losing weight. I am feeling
