Thanks so much, I'm 2 days out and feeling stronger today. Still got the odd crampy abdominal pain but I'm sure that will go in a day or so.

Cheers, thanks for stopping by. Good to hear from you. I understand how it might be easy it might be to get ahead yourself with food intake. I haven't as yet had to manage the balance of desire to eat and the liquid diet.
I knew the date would be coming along quickly, but I blinked and it snuck up on me. Looking forward to being where you are currently at and getting on with my life.

Update!! I am doing really good and feeling better and better every day. I stepped on the scale for the first time since my surgery yesterday (Day 10 Post op) and I weighed in at 285. I was 322 when I started the pre-op diet and 308 when I went to the hospital. So 23 pounds down and it feels really good and motivating. I have been walking every day and trying to be as mobile as possible.
I have tried different pureed foods and some do not settle well and even had some that would not stay down. I am not sure if I was supposed to do this or not, but I had a raw oyster and it settled just fine. (chewing it up to applesauce was a little weird)
My wifes Birthday is today and we are going to her favorite restaurant. They have a soup that is really good and I have already called ahead and asked them if they can put it in a blender for me. Of course they said yes.
Most of my abdominal bruising is gone. That was crazy!! my Tummy is still pretty purple, but it is fading. I have the luxuy of getting laser treatments on my stomach every other day as my wife works in the medical field. They have really helped with the healing process and the soreness,

Hi there! My pre op diet is getting a little easier, but I am still hungry!!! I want food so bad and I work at Starbucks and want that too!! I have slipped a few times with some protein; meat and eggs. Each time I did my stomach and bowels were not happy But I haven't done that for quite a few days. I have been very good!! I just try to keep myself busy for sure, but only a few more days and hopefully I won't care any longer and will be on the road to recovery. How is yours going?

I am on day 2 of my Pre-Op diet and I have 7 more days till Sleeve Day!! I am glad that the surgery went well! Did your doctor use the Da Vinci robot for the surgery?
