Happy one monthiversary to fellow 10/24ers! I'm down 35 lbs and thrilled. I am so glad I did this. Slowly but surely I'll get to a healthy weight....and stay there!

I'm only 2.5 weeks out from surgery. The scale has been crazy. This morning it jumped up 5 lbs. WTH?

I'm sure it's just water or I need to poop or something simple, but man it messes with your head.

It will be 2.5 weeks out from surgery when I return to work on Monday.

Anyone have trouble with stamina making it through a full work day? (I commute an hour each way and have a desk job). Any advice is welcome.

I've gotten used to lying down after eating...I guess that won't happen. I'm going to miss my dogs, too!

I am grateful that my surgery went so smoothly, with no complications and no significant pain or nausea.

Looking forward to pureed foods. Can't take another protein shake!

If that's my biggest complaint after having my stomache reduced, I'm in good shape.

My PCP is worried that since I don't have a comorbidity, I won't be approved by insurance.

Anyone with BCBS Illinois get approved without another condition? All my tests came back healthy - in fact great. Cholesterol great. Not pre-diabetic. Etc.

Her worry is now mine as I wait for approval....and ponder self pay.
