Hi Teachertoo! Thank you for responding to me. I would love to hear all about what's going on with you. I am totally new to being on a forum site like this...not sure if I'm even doing this right I have a pre-0p appt. this week, and I guess I will be told what exactly I need to do. Vanderbilt doesn't seem as strict about the pre-op diet as some others. Thanks for the suggestion about the book. I will read it! Thanks.

Hi Newlife24....I live in Franklin, KY, and hope to have a surgery date close to yours. Maybe we could be sleeve friends. I am very concerned about sticking to the pre op, but most people seem to do well with it.
I would suggest you get THE SLEEVED LIFE off of Amazon and read it. Terrific, biographical book about the experience...
