Hi there! I'm doing pretty good. I go for my post-op appt tomorrow and I pray these staples come out!!! They are itching and bugging me so much! The incisions have healed nicely. Also, I have been on clear liquids for one week and am so ready to add the other liquids (soups, etc.) I'm curious to find out if that Phase is really two weeks long. If so, I'll need to find some really good soups!

I do think Dr. Kim is a good surgeon, but he certainly doesn't have a warm fuzzy bedside manner. I only met him once right before surgery and I had to ask to meet him. I thought it was kind of strange, but he did a good job. My left side is a bit sore still. I'm not sure if it's a normal thing or if it was because I got constipated two days ago. Finally, resolved that and my side is now hurting much less. I am now taking one Colace each day to prevent any further problems. I also take the Lortab at night so that the soreness does not bother me sleeping.
