    Hello Brabri! Came by to visit. You look amazing. You posted on my wall when I first joined about Crohns. I was approved and I'm scheduled for surgery on Tuesday 9/23. Again you look great!

    Thanks for the info. When I spoke with my GI doc about last year even tho he doesn't agree with it, never said I couldn't because of it. The person that keeps saying I'm not a candidate and wont get approved had bypass surgery done not the sleeve. So I'll wait and see what the bariatric doc has to say about it. Thanks again

    I see you're in a group with sleevers who have intestinal problems. My biggest fear is that I won't get approved for my surgery because I have crohn's. How did it impact the approval of your surgery? I keep being told that because of it they probably won't do it. First appt with the bariatric doc is 4/7. Can you shine a little light for me. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Brandy! I think I keep it pretty basic right now. I work out 5 days a week, my rest days are Monday and Friday. I do 30 mins on the elliptical machine, at a pace of about 3.5mph. That's currently burning about 300 cals! Hope this helps!

Biography:
I have had several things that have contributed to my weight gain...oophorectomy, tumor(borderline cancerous), found out I have Crohns', hysterectomy, back surgery almost paralized in left leg, my left leg had a lot of nerve damage and is still damaged almost 2 years later. I'm hoping once I have the surgery my health will improve and my back will feel a lot better and my leg will finally heal from all the nerve damage...

So I decided that this year is the year to get healthy for me...I turned 33 in March and I cut all my hair off because I want to start anew...new hair, sleeve scheduled...I am on my way!! I am very excited and I'm ready to get healthy. I'm ready to be me!!

NERVOUS! Flying and Conference

Sunday I am flying to Houston for a work conference, I haven't flown in 2 years and I was a little lighter then. I'm a little nervous about the whole trip. It is easy...well easier...while I'm at home and at work but to be out of town with no car. Has anyone else been to a conference while in the pureed stage? I know lunch will be catered and that freaks me out! What should I do, pack some food in my luggage and take that to the conference? I just don't want to get sick and not be able to get
