Fantastic!! Really great. We really followed the rules, did 2 weeks of protein shakes and broth and have follwed the pre-op. The only thing I am taking is the antibiotic, I haven't taken any other meds since the last ones given by the IV the day before we left.

I also had 7 teeth crowned so it is remarkable that I have experienced zero pain and I mean zero. I did have some gas sitting up high (in my upper chest/back) that was really uncomfortable but I walked every day in Tijuana (my dentist was down at the end of the road so a good walk) and the gas is really minimal now.

Still sipping Atkins shakes, broth and powerade zero (my only cheat has been coffee... about a half a cup - and 5 cups less than I use too!!)

Hey Linda. I was just reading some of the posts on Dr. A and read what your daughters said. I had surgery with Dr A on 4/11. I am down 33 lbs. But regarding Jersusalem Hospital and Dr A. you cant go wrong. The service is BETTER than in US and same technology. The hospital is less frills than US but they get you in and out. You stay in 5 star hotel with nursing 24 hrs/day. I highly recommend Tijuana and Dr A. They are truly great.
