I am planning a gastric sleeve by Dr. Osuna on Sept. 27 2013. What was it like and how are you now?

msjupiterdream~ The pain pills they give are sublingual, put it under your tongue and that's it. I did not have very much pain, except for the gas pain from surgery. Walk, walk, walk! I am currently 12 days out and I am feeling GREAT! I am incorporating some soft foods here and there and my inscions are healing nicely. Best decision I've ever made!

I see you went through a lighter me which is the same company I am thinking about using. Were you able to swallow pain pills after surgery or was it too difficult to get down? I'm planning the surgery in February, but I'm scared of the pain I may face.

hi there! I am 8 days post op...Im doing pretty good ! No pain,no nausea and no vomiting! I feel normal..but still trying get all my fluids in and protein in too...its tough..but Im getting better everyday

Hey there, I see that we have the same surgery date. Are you excited about being so close to having the surgery? I really am and have already packed for the hospital stay. Pray that you come out with flying colors!

Best of luck to you. I will be heading to Mexico in July to have mine done if all holds true between now and then.

Hi Stacy, im Jennifer, nice to meet you!!! I am convinced this surgery is the best thing I can do for myself as well as my kids... I want to have a life! The money ive spent on "weight loss stuff" that hasnt worked, could more than pay for my surgery! I had to file Ch 13, last February (thanks to a deadbead thats now my ex,) so I am now searching for how to get this financed =/ I would love to be added to the group! my fb is under my name Jennifer Vandiver, thank you so much!
