Sorry for the long delay on the reply, I am a little computer illterate. Just trying to figure this all out. I am now 15days out. I feel great. The intial recovery in the hospital, according to my doctors was apparently pretty miraculous, once I got home (as it took me almost a full day to get home) I slept for a full day. This ment that I didn't do any walking, and I definately suffered for this. The first week of liquid diet was really tough for me, apparently when you are on clear fluids it is really hard to find things that aren't sweet, and I definately don't have a sweet tooth. I got this way because I prefer to eat my weight in savory snacks. However now that I am on puree I am feeling much stronger and more satisfied. I am down 17lbs, which is also making it easier to get through this whole experience.
