Thanks, everyone, who sent good luck and positive wishes for my surgery. I'm happy to say that all went well, as planned, and I am not feeling too shabby! I seem to be managing my liquids and protein without any issues and, for a little TMI, I even had a small, regular BM this morning. Despite getting plenty of rest I seem to be dealing with some sleepiness but, aside from that, I feel I am well and truly on my way. Just remember this: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. (Lao-tzu). YOU can do it! Good luck to all of you.
