    I see you have just had your surgery and I just wanted to say that I will be praying for your speedy recovery. I hope everything went well. You have now moved over to the LOOSERS ZONE!! Yeah!!!! I will be there in 2 more months. God bless!
  2. Tomorrow is the big day. I am both nervous and excited. I can't believe I survived the pre-op diet, but, I am soooooooo hungry !!!!!
  3. Day #3 of my pre-op diet. Has anyone had a problem with headaches and persistent nausea?

Ultimately, after many diet failures, I decided upon surgery. My husband researched doctors and found one approximately an hour and fory-five minutes away. After our first visit, there was no doubt that I wanted the surgery. Because, I was helping to care for my mother out of town, it took over a year to complete all of the required appointments, tests, sleep studies and 3 months of seeing a dietitian ( I had to repeat twice). I had never had a problem with my weight. In fact, I had considered myself lucky because I ate what I wanted and never had to worry. However, after a son, a badly broken ankle, various medications and a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, my weight piled on layer by layer until I felt like an empty shadow of myself.
