- Hi! I graduated last May from Loyola University New Orleans and have been living at home getting my medical stuff under control since then. I've been contemplating WLS for years now, and now I'm finally in a place where it's possible to do so. I'm excited about finally becoming the person I've always wanted to be on the outside. As for what I'll do after and for the rest of my life, who knows?

Oy. So, I had my sleeve done June 11th and while I'm almost three weeks out, I'm still miserable. I'm nauseated all the time, can't drink nearly enough, have massively bad heartburn even after I take Prilosec twice a day, and on top of everything I've already begun to stall in weight loss.
Weight the day of surgery was around 256 lbs. At my one week weigh in I was down to 242 lbs, a massive loss. And while I realize that this first round is not typical or indicative of what's to
