So easy to slip back hey? Yesterday and today I have been for long walks (approx 3km) and are trying to behave myself. I don't count calories, so I have no Idea of my intake. But I get confused why is a cruskit ok to eat at 3-4 weeks and bread not? I thought a cruskit would be harder to get down. Oh I think I need a proper diet plan. Lol, perhaps we just expected too much, I think I enjoyed the first weeks loss too much that was easy. It all kept coming out. Good luck hon no your not alone

Hi girl thank you for checking in on me, I'm fantastic, and it's my one week sleeve anniversary lol. I'm eating eggs, chicken soup, porridge. Some stay in some like the banana this morning follow straight out yuk. I never had any pain really, I was very lucky, I had a small hernia fixed and a couple of adhesions cut. I did question my sanity the day after surgery, not because of the pain, more the lack of energy and the enormity of the op hit me. Anyway I am all good. I have an appointment with the dietician tomorrow and surgeon so I guess I'll find out if I've lost more weight. I think my legs may have lots a little they don't seem as full lol.
Hope you are well and I see you have lots 20 pound already, you are a star. Chow now Verna

Thank you! I've been working really hard at this....I was losing about 20 a month and now its closer to 10...I'm about 21 lbs away from my goal so its slowing down quite a bit.
  9. Hi Godleegirl! I have a very low tolerance for pain so my first two days were terrible. I did have a two night stay in the hospital. I did not do so well on my liquid diet. I almost did not go trough with it. I was on the fence up until the morning of surgery. Today is a little bit better. I'm praying I made the right decision. Everyone else on here is so positive. So I'm trying to think happy thoughts instead of having buyers remorse. Good luck to you!

Hi J how you feeling today? My sleeve is in 2 days, but I'm not too worried, tends to be my nature. Jump in feet first and figure it out along the way. Lol.
So please tell me about your experience,
How long do you stay in hospital over there? Did you have a liquid diet pre surgery?
Have you wanted to do this for a long time ect.
Anyway I hope today is a much better feeling day and the start of the new you, you hoped for.

25 Days Post Op

by JtotheLo on 04-06-2013 at 09:39 AM
I was sleeved on 3/12 and within the 1st 10 days I quickly dropped 25 pounds. I have been at a stall since then. I took the advice of others and have only been weighing in once a week. Today was my day to weigh in and I actually gained 5 pounds. I've been on liquids up until this last week I slowly introduced mush food at one meal. I don't understand how I can not be losing. I understand this is not a race but my will power had been phenomenol like never before. I have none of the trouble

12 Days Post Op and have hit a stall

by JtotheLo on 03-24-2013 at 10:11 PM
So for the last three mornings I've excitedly hopped on the scale and too my surprise my weight has remained the same. I lost 20 pounds after 9 days post op and have not eaten anything differently the last three days. My eating log consists of 3 shakes and about 60 oz of water and about 5 sugar free Popsicles a day. This totals about 500 calories a day. I have not been to my follow up appointment with my surgeon yet but I went ahead and completed 10 minutes on the Eliptical machine. I felt

Home Alone with a Fridge full of food...yikes

by JtotheLo on 03-23-2013 at 10:46 PM
I can't believe I've made it through the day and stuck to my water, shakes and popscicles. My husband took our kids to the movies and I was left alone with all this food. I spent most of my day organizing then realized I could not hide from the fridge. I attacked head on and started making banana pudding for my husband, devised eggs, rice, chicken, green beans. My family came home to a buffet of different foods and I did not eat any of it! Apparently the food was really good and they needed
