    that's great! You will get up early and sleep the rest of the day . Three less hours of being nervous and 3 hours closer to being in recovery. You will do great!

    I know! Sleepless nights and nervous stomach (at least after Thursday there will only be part of a nervous stomach!). You will do awesome! My biggest worry is about the post op... not knowing how I will respond, making sure I get enough water and protein.. not being a baby I'm sure it will all be great, just never a very patient person. Keep in touch and let me know how things go.

Finally Taking That Step... Wish Me Luck!

After months of debating, I finally made the decision to have bariatric surgery. I can't say that I'm not nervous or that I think it will be easy, but I will say that I think it's what's best for me. I had the initial meeting with my doctor and dietician on Monday so the ball is now in motion. Within the next few months, I will be doing tons of research to ensure I am fully prepared and will hopefully be sleeved this summer. :-)
