Pre-Op suggestions please

Day #11. Weighed myself this morning to discover a 1.5lb increase in weight.
Based on many suggestions that I have received from many of you. (thanks a bunch too) I'm no on Decaf coffee. Having Diet Soda only at night, down to about 2. Even though the Pre-op diet instructions from the Dr.'s office says its okay to have diet soda. I just don't want any issues after surgery.
Maybe too much sodium in the broth soups/cubes? I thought I would lose between 15-20lbs. before surgery.
Pre-Op Liquid Day #8

Day # 8 on the liquid diet. For some reason today, I was feeling like I wanted more liquids than usual. I've lost 6lbs. so far. From what I've been reading on the website, many of you have lost more. Any suggestions? Thoughts? Am I doing something wrong? Coffee, protein shakes, broth, SF popsicles, SF Jello. Lots of water, diet soda.
Dry soup in an envelope okay on pre-op ???

Is it okay to have an envelope of vegetable soup on pre-op? Nutritionist at the doctors office said lipton onion soup mix was okay to have. Just started day 5 of my liquid diet today. Because the weekend is here, it makes me a little nervous. I need to keep busy.
