Congrats to you!!! I hit 61 today. I am averaging 4 lbs a week lost and really it isnt that hard b/c I am not hungry!!!

Hey Liz, How is the weight loss going. I hit 51 lbs today. I am ecstatic. Not even 8 weeks. Feel so much better. The energy level is through the roof. 53 more lbs to go. This number does not even faze me like it used to.

I have surgery on June 12th with Almanza! I am nervous. Thanks for your posts. It helps.

Liz, I just sent journeytogether13 an email. I told her how awesome Jerusalem Hospital, Hotel Tiquan, Dr A and the staff are. I hope this helps. I had my surgery 4/11 and I am down 25 lbs. I am thrilled. Feel so much better already.

I am scared on so many levels. I am taking this journey without my husband. I don't ever do anything without him. I am scared to go to a foreign country and be around strangers without him being beside me, however, God has graced me with the most precious friend in the world and her and I are gonna do this together!!!! I haven't shared the news about my surgery with anyone other than my daughters and my hubby. I am so afraid to be judged and rediculed. I have heard so many times in the past when I had contemplated this surgery that it was the easy way out and none of my family approved of it. So therefore, this time, I actually scheduled it, and I have not shared the news with anyone but those I know are totally supportive of me and my dreams. It breaks my heart to go do this without sharing it with my mom. She has always been there for everything I have done in my life, but I feel this time it might hinder me. It might scare me worse than I am already scared if I share this news with her. I pray that God sees me throu this surgery, and gives me the chance to come back home and share with my mom the joy I now have, the peace within myself that I have wanted for sooooooooo long. And I pray she forgives me for hiding it from her and not including her in this major life decision!

Thanks so much. I am so excited about this surgery, and so scared at the same time. I don't want to be a failure again! I don't want food to run my life again!! This surgery is so important to me. It is the last part of putting my life back together again, and truly being happy.

Hi missy. How was the trip home. I was so glad to see my own bed. I am feeling pretty good accept from the flack I am getting from my daughter.
