Hi pam> Sorry i didnt see your message till today. I love my shakes and i do drink all vegan based shakes. I have been to the dr. 4times to check my blood work and im doing amazing and need nothing to suppliment this. You will get people all the time that say pea, rice, ect or vegan based products are not good for you but i have done my research and i would like to stay away from animal based protein. But each of us are different and i cant say my way is the right i just love the way i feel and i would like to not have much cholesterol in my diet which is all animal based products. I do eat chicken and fish but most of all i eat is vegan based casue of how i feel and the energy level i can receive from this lifestyle. I hope this helps you Pam and it looks like you surgery is right around the corner. Take lots and lots of pics because this journey will be AMAZING!!!
