Sorry I have not been on much due to changing computers. I had a back injury and was not able to exercise much and I hit a very long stall. It is better and I am back to exercise. I was eating to much to many carbs too. I did a mini pouch test just doing protein shakes two meals and one high protein meal total about 850 calories. It help refocus me and make better choices again. Still have a ways to go so I need to stay focus! Let me know how it's going

I am so excited for you and admittedly in ah! I have come a long ways from 26-28 to 20's but I can't even imagine wearing a single digit! ha! I too have always just bought clothes because - well they fit my big butt! Literally I was as wide as I was tall - hip and height measurements were almost the same! I look forward to joining you little sassy women! Maybe I will never be a 9 (and juniors no less) but I am definitley not going to be the biggest person in the room!

Thanks! Yes- I added you because I saw you were a patient of Dr. Turnquest.. I haven't had the surgery yet, I'm still in the preliminary stages of seeing Michelle (who is great btw, I agree!) at his office.. I plan to have the surgery done in March. I havent found too much on Turnquest, although I do know of his reputation, a nurse friend of mine used him with a glowing report... I guess right now I just am absorbing all the info i can! Nice to meet you and thank you for the info!

The first two on my signature come from the TICKER section. The third one is imported from MyFitnessPal. I update it on MFP and it updates on here on its own.

I can't find the "thanks" button to thank you for your kind words. Not sure where I am missing it. I did want to let you know that I appreciate your reply. Very thoughtful! Wishing you much continued success!
  14. Oh, I appreciate your kind words. I was really encouraged to read your post yesterday...your candid reply regarding exercise. A lady my husband works with reached her goal without exercise but I was determined to change that about myself. I HATE exercise but I was going to incorporate it into my NEW LIFE. I joined my church's gym (first gym membership e-ver) and I have gone periodically over the last 3 months but my accountability partner moved so I haven't been going. Until yesterday, I hadn't weighed for 2 weeks and was so disappointed when I found I had only lost a SINGLE POUND in TWO WEEKS! The first 65 or so came off pretty stinkin' fast but the last 15 - soooo much more slowly. I was thinking as I got ready for work this morning - I wonder if I've lost all I'm gonna lose. ??? Guess I'm just feeling a little down. Then, I think about you and the fact that you had your surgery in 2010...maybe I still have a chance at this. I just always seem to be in a hurry....whatever it is I'm doing. I need to cool my jets and relax into this new life. Thanks again for just "being there" and letting your light shine.
