I'm in Auckland and have just had surgery on Wednesday 12th March 2014. 4 days out and going well. Just trying to get all fluids in. Looking forward to my journey and a better quality of life with my family.
How are you going 1 year out?

Well you certainly suprised me when you said you were only 88kgs. I'd give anything to be that light. Surely a very strict diet would give you exactly the same results - hell I've lost 20 kgs just using optifast. Anyway whatever, good luck with your surgery and keep in touch. I'm having mine on Friday and am so looking forward to it as well as being nervous.

I have decided to have the surgery and today started the liquid diet!!! My surgery date is the 25th March, so only two weeks to go for me as well.... Today I weighed in at 88.7kgs. Pleased to hear that your surgery was funded, our only option was to go private and top up the mortgage!! I'm eager to start this diet as I've been freaking myself out about it and just need to stop the talk and to walk the walk. Good luck, I look forward to hear how your going.
