Stacey, had you tried Almond or Coconut milk? I have a lactose intolence and I CANNOT drink cow's milk, I mix my 20mg or Protein Powder in almond/coconut milk Blend well chill it real well then drink it taste like chocolate milk. I have been on protein shakes 3 months, preparing for the Sleeve....Who know after my surgery it may taste funny, but right now it is good......Miss Jay
  2. I did it. I am 3 weeks post-op today and I am feeling good, The weight is falling off but I'm for sure not getting enough protein in, I find it so hard to even get in 30g a day. Anything milky is got a weird taste for me and the protein with water tastes gross. Any suggestions on different proteins?

My only problem is I believe I went back to work to soon I noticed last night after taking dressing off my one incision has opened up on each end (put no fault of the operation just going to work to soon and job is a little to hard on the body) I work tonight so going to med centre to have it checked out other than than I feel great and I have lost 20 some lbs so far since surgery . woohoo for me .

Everything goes very professional easily. It is very fast paced around there. You will have a wonderful experience no doubt. Border wasn't nothing. Very long lines. They didn't even speak to me or my hubby. My hubby didn't even have a passport just his birth certificate and driver license. They didn't even look twice at him. Never looked at anything inside the van. Nothing to worry about. We even walked around Mexico shopping. Just hubby and me did some walking and also went with the van on our shopping tour my hubby walked to the store while I was buzzy. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. LOVED Dr Alamnza, the President of the clinic/owner of hotel and every single one of his staff member. Mario was so sweet and friendly. Everyone of the staff was always smiling and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Almanza. Nurses was very much on demand 24-7. Excellent care. I'm doing wonderful. A little sore that's it. I never had any nausea or anything else. My incisions look great. I will have very little hardly any visible scarring. Everyone seemed to truly love their job. I would definitely go back to that clinic for anything.
