Hey Jen - how's it going? I'm not on MFP or here very much anymore, but check in now and then. Hope you are doing well, looks like it by the stats. I'm doing well. Dealing with the head game of being the same weight for a year after a year of rapid loss -- the losing is fun! Overall still into fitness, ran my 2nd full marathon (42.195 KM) a few weeks ago. Still do Pilates but more like 2-3 times per week now and add yoga and interval stuff on other days. All that exercise and I only maintain, but it is a good weight and I do have some nice muscles. Overall really happy with it and never would have imagined the toughest battle would be when I stopped losing. Can't believe who I am 24 months later, just a different person. Better for sure, but definitely very different.

Heya! You're looking great in fb photos etc - assume all is going well!? As it happens I am heading back to Perth late November (23rd onward) for two weeks as my Mum has been having chemo/radiotherapy. Would be good to catch up! Russ and I are on holiday in SE Asia in Feb, and we've booked a week skiing in France again in March, so sorry that Canada is a no-go. Hope you have a fabbo time. Let me know about Perth - not sure if I have your phone number I'll check. Otherwise I'll pm you with a number for us to to set something up.

I am doing fine. How are you doing? It seems like only yesterday that I was on a full liquid diet. Time surely has flown by and it is awesome to have this new lease on life. There has been many changes in my outlook on life since losing 100 lbs.

I'm doing well, though I've pretty much plateau'd. I think I've reached the point where I have to modify my behavior...my sleeve won't do any more for me than it's doing right now. I'm exploring solitude and decluttering...though I should probably come back and post my results. Soon. Soon. Hope you are doing stellar!

Hi there! Great to hear from you.
Yes,tell me about differences! This was really a life changing experience. What started as a quest to get healthy, became, for me at least, a journey to explore a person I didn't know existed and apparently society discover thin people too, as we become noticeable and popular.
Cruel, shallow and very unfair. But we couldn't beat them so I joined.
Good to hear you're well. Was only happy to help anyone who needed encouragement to do this. After all, everyone has the right to better themselves.
    Cheers!

Happy to read how great you are doing! Plastic surgery was the absolute best choice for me. Not that I wasn't already highly motivated, but with having plastics I am even MORE motivated to maintain my weight and tone my body. I actually have ab muscles...haha I would have never dreamed that would have been possible for me 19 months ago! Keep in touch, and I wish you continued success!!

    Hi Jen,
    Lovely to hear from you.
I am enjoying the normalcy that my weight loss has given me. I can eat without people watching and judging, fly in economy seats, walk up a hill without getting anxious.
I have not lost any weight since leaving the NT last September. We have been travelling constantly (still have no new home) so I am grateful to have maintained. I have started doing yoga most mornings in the past 3-4 months, which has really helped me to feel better in my body.
I was doing a lot of emotional eating. At least have stopped eating in the evenings now so I have some confidence in resuming weight loss sometime in the nearish future. Looking at your last message about the pilates and the gym is inspiring.
Currently in Tonga, where I found myself working in a Chkiungunya outbreak. I didn't get sick when hundreds of people did, so was happy to maintain my health and not too concerned to lose weight.
Happy to hear you are doing well. Thanks for keeping in touch.
    Nel

Well - it is a year today. What a difference a year makes.

by Truebody on 05-10-2014 at 01:42 PM
May 10 will forever be a day to remember for me. The single most important day in my life.
I've gone from being a whisker over 101kgs to 65.2kgs today. That's a huge difference. Every part of my life has been impacted - and it is all good.
I don't miss anything at all.
My bra size is now a 10G. I wear small tops and size 12 pants. Most of my shoes needed to be chucked out as my feet were smaller.
I love my exercise routine. No more slogging away on treadmills or x-trainers,

Got myself a new bra.

by Truebody on 10-12-2013 at 10:00 AM
After a week of feeling most uncomfortable I took myself off for a bra fitting. I've gone from an 18F to a 12H. So my boobs are basically the same size, but I've lost the padding around the chest and back so now there is a marked difference between the two.

The other things I bought... A Sportscraft shirt in a size 12! Normal sized fitness pants and 3 t- shirts designed specifically for fitness workouts and one is a small!

Absolutely amazing and cannot wait to try

My Skinny Jeans fit

by Truebody on 08-31-2013 at 04:47 AM
Now not all my skinny pants fit, but the ones when I was an 'OK' size fit and are in fact just a little roomy in some spots.
How good is THAT!!

A little WooHoo

by Truebody on 06-22-2013 at 01:29 AM
It's 6 weeks today and I think I'm past my stall. Huge relief about that.
So 6 weeks out I'm down 10 kilos exactly and I'm feeling good.
