    Yes, definitely big day. I just found out I will be the first one so my surgery time is 8:30AM. Best wishes to you and me both. A lot of positive thoughts and prayers for us both for smooth, beautiful sleeving and speedy recovery!

    Wow - I wish I were you. I'm a little panicky right now. I wish it was already the after part. I'm reading the nutrition guideline from my doctor's office and just a little nervous about being able to do this. I don't know what my doc requires, they said it could be one night, maybe two. But the important thing is we don't go home too soon. What are you doing to be prepared when you get home?

    I'm not nervous at all, it's pure excitment! I do dread the hospital stay but only cuz I don't like them & my doc requires a 2 night stay.

Doubts or is it fear??

I feel like I am frozen: one minute I'm thinking yes, I'm ready to go ahead with the surgery and the next: I should try to lose weight on my own one more time because surgery is so drastic....

I fear the surgery (what if something goes wrong and I don't make it) - am I ready to leave (mostly) my daughter w/o me at this time? Even though there's a slim chance of this happening - it is still major surgery and a possiblity.

Then I think is the fear really once I drop
