Hi.

10 days post-VSG surgery, I had a bad tummy ache under my right breast and around the right side of my back. I called my surgeon's office, got his nurse, who told me to go to ER and get a sonnogram of my gallbladder.

Sure enough -- I had 30 gallstones. Eek!

I had NEVER had gallbladder issues before. However, obviously I didn't generate all those gallstones from weight loss surgery. Could have been a coincidence. Or it could have been that the stones that were there grew just enough during the pre-op diet and 10 days post-op (as I was losing weight very rapidly) to give me troubles.

Who knows. In any event, I won't ever have to worry about my gallbladder again.

@beachmamaof4 I love Dr. Kuhn and Henke and George i forget his last name they are all so nice and caring and i had my surgery at Medical City because I used to work there as a RT but I also know he works out of Baylor dallas which I work at now, the only complaint is the front office staff at Medical City are not my cup of tea, I think they are young and a lil unprofessional they dont have very good phone manners either so i like to go to his baylor office instead
