Almost there! Awaiting Insurance Approval

by anewvue on 04-11-2013 at 07:43 PM
Been awhile since I have posted. I have done all to meet the requirements for insurance approval. My surgeon has set my date. I am so excited! If all goes well I will be sleeved in two weeks. This has been a long time coming. More to come!

Almost there.....just a few more steps!

Its been awhile since I have been on the site. My life has been off the chain busy. I have completed my 3 months of supervised weight loss. I have been placed on CPAP and am now sleeping much better. I visit my surgeon next week for my evaluation. Then they submit for my insurance approval.

Sleep Apnea the next level

by anewvue on 02-21-2013 at 06:20 PM
So, I had my titration sleep study last night! AWFUL....I started out with the nasal pillows and just could not get comfortable. Called the tech in and asked her to change me to the mask at 2 am....slept like a baby! So, now I have to wait for my physician to get the report for the referral to get my CPAP machine.

Now with that said, I got a call the day prior to the titration study from my bariatric surgeon's nurse. She was checkin in on my progress. I told her about my new

So here I am ending my 2nd month of supervised weight loss for insurance purposes. My doctor recommended I have a sleep study because of my symptoms and hubbies complaints of kicking me because I "stop breathing" at night. My insurance pays for the in home sleep study, so I did it. I got a call yesterday that I have "severe" sleep apnea. The nurse says to me not to worry, I am trying to get the weight off which will help with the problem, but I will need a CPAP machine.

In the revolution, skinny B****es will die first!

by anewvue on 01-14-2013 at 08:32 PM
That was the statement my personal trainer would make during our sessions as I sweated and complained while she whipped my body into shape years ago! The phrase was said to help me not feel so bad about all the skinny little women walking around the gym while I looked like two tons of fun. I worked out 6 days a week and modified my eating and yes ...dayum I looked good, but I paid a very big fee to stay motivated.

So now, I want to be one of the skinny B****** and I believe
