Yes, still the 22nd. My 10day pre-op started this morning. Still mostly excited!!

awesome!!! glad I already helped someone... You must have stayed at the other hotel since there was a pool. There was a huge election going on when I was there and no rooms left. I stayed at Hotel Ticuan, which is really nice, but I would have liked to relax in the sun by the pool and not on a bench in front of the hotel, lol.
Yes, the liquids will get easier.. each day I was able to drink more and more. 3rd day it took me all day to drink a reg sized water, next day a larger gatorade and day after that, I finished the large gatorade, broth and some water. I was gettin bored just by the time I could start my protein shakes, so that was nice. I can't drink those as fast since they are thicker, but todays shake went down better than the other one. It's like each day you feel 50% better than the day before and so on!

Good Luck today!! I am guessing you might even be on the other side by now as I have no idea what time it is in Mexico!! I am praying for you and wishing you a speedy and full recovery with no pain!!!! Remember to get up and walk as soon as you can and take itty bitty sips!!

at first I was like "what did I just get myself into" the first couple of days.. but day 3 I woke up feeling so much better. each day gets better and better. I'm so happy i did it. I have this massive increase of happiness from within now!

I was sleeved July 1, 2013 with Dr. Kelly. He's great and I did a ton of research and an very happy with my decision. You should be too. Best wishes

July 9th. Awesome...please don't listen to the food addict....no one needs an entire bag of oreos or in my case an entire 16 inch piazza....that is what put us here. Now you will be able to eat 3 and be satisfied....like normal people. Not a matter of not having it but a matter of having the right amount and enjoying those things without the guilt and self hate we lived with before. We will do this....together!!!!!!

Bluto, Welcome to our July group. Just wanted to say hello and see if you have picked an actual surgery date???? I am hoping that you are as very excited for this journey as I am. July sure seems to be dragging and the 22nd just can't come soon enough. Cant wait to be on the other side. Looking forward to sharing this journey and all your success with you
