Wow I haven't been on here in so long. I am doing great! I'm down 70 lbs since surgery but the last month I haven't lost much. I can't get under 200 lbs. I sit at 201 and 200 and not an ounce under. It's driving me crazy. Oh and I am losing my hair and because i'm not producing as much estrogen I have started getting horrible hot flashes. UGH!!! I am off 5 meds and I really do feel so much better.I work out 5 days a week. I still don't drink much but I get some fluids from sugar free popcicles. I am in a size L now and when I go shopping I still feel like I should go to the plus sizes. It does feel great not going there. Even my husband of 31 years got jealous a few weeks ago which was kinda nice! I hope everyone is doing good and have fun this summer.

Hi Leo39, I'm glad u r doing good. I have been getting lightheaded this week. might be from not drinking enough water. Ugh!!! I'm trying to drink more. going shopping for some smaller clothes for work. happy happy happy... :-)

Hi Lulu, how are you doing? I had surgery 11 days ago, I'm the same as you with respect to fluids - I can't drink anywhere close to the amount I read other people drinking, I don't know how they do it! I don't feel dehydrated or anything so I guess i'm ok... hoping things are going well for you!

Three weeks out and down 30 pounds. loving it!!!! This week I am starting on regular food. I'm still having a hard time with the fluids. I'm not even near What they want me to have. I am starting to understand what I need to eat and I am doing fine. I'm not having any problems with different foods. Have you guys seen the Darigold fat free milk that taste like 2% and has 10 g. of protein? Great for protein shakes. Thanks for checking up on me. I'm back to work and my only complaint I am tired. Other than that I'm good.

I'm doing good. Not getting my fluids in or at least not like They want. Surgery was good. I had a couple hard days But I'm ok. Thanks for asking about me.

I'm flying out tomorrow for Tijuana and surgery on Saturday. I'm so excited to start this journey!! I just want to say thanks to everyone on here. Every time I felt nervous I would come on to the forums and read your stories and I would always feel so much better. Thanks again I'll see you on the other side.

Sorry, no I didn't, to be honest, never even crossed my mind to tip nurses. I did tip Victor and Daniel.

Marty, can't say enough about them. They were fantastic, well more so Dr. Cabrera, he will come talk to you the morning of your surgery, and every day while you are in the hospital. Didn't see much of Dr. Valenzuela, but did a chance to meet her prior to surgery. The hospital is great, and the nurses will bring you whatever you need or ask for. Talk to Daniel, the coordinator, he is fantastic as well. He will ensure your stay in the hospital and at the hotel are great. Anything you need, ask Daniel and he will take care of it for you. I had a little excess gas the first day after surgery, and it cleared up by the next day. Everything went as per schedule right from Victor picking me up at the airport , to drop off at the hotel, and the return trip to San Diego. Hope this helps.....
