Had my gallbladder surgery 4 weeks ago, it screws up the digestion. I did hit my goal a couple weeks ago, so hoping the more active winter months will maybe get the extra skin down, there really isn't much, but it's noticable if I don't keep moistureized. So how are you doing? I haven't been on here much. I have 1 friend all done w/his prep work and scheduling surgery for next month and 2 ladies that are just starting their journey. One of them told me I was their inspiration - THAT makes me feel great

I am only down 17 and am avoiding the scale as I refuse to make myself crazy. I know it will go. I do see and feel the difference in my clothes and my "hocks" are smaller. In due time honey we will be just fine!

Hi there things are well. I feel good. Trying to find creative "soft" things to eat. Can't eat puréed meats looks life poop or baby food!!! Otherwise I am great! I am noticing my body change right before my eyes. Not seeing huge numbers on the scale but I am patient and know it will come. How are you my dear?

Hiya Doll Face!!! I am well. I am just so dang tired and adjusting. Surgery went well physically I am just stuggling a bit mentally. Today I am 2 weeks post op and feel great for the most part, never had any pain or gas. Just can't seem to get along well with how little I am able to drink. I have always been a guzzler of water and now I just want to cry cause the sips aren't satisfying at all I know this will get better but me and patience aren't good friends! Thanks for checking on me

I am in Killingworth. I had my surgery at Yale with Dr. Robert Bell. My surgery was a breeze once all the pain meds and anesthia wore off. I really hate the way that makes me feel. I can't wait to go to the doctor on Tuesday and start phase two of eating. I'm so over the clear liquid stage. It's hard as hell! I want to get back to a normal life with good energy levels. How are things going with you?

I am doing well. Feel almost normal, except for some weird new stuff I have to figure out! lol! I started protein shakes and certain pureed foods on monday. Pureed soups, mashed cottage cheese, baby food. All sounds so yummy !! I do this for another 3 weeks and then I can start mushy foods. I cant say I enjoy eating, but it fills the empty feelng I get. I also have this feeling of what I thought was hunger but its still there even after I am full. I just figure eventually it will go away. I have to stop getting on the scale 3 times a day, its almost like an addiction. I also need to increase my exercise. Was cleared to do just about anything but life weights. So we are off to a great starte I would say!

How are you feeling? I am a bit sore but I think the gas is most uncomfortable. I have been up walking almost as soon as I left the operating room. Glad to be home. And you?

I know very little about this but was told its great and I should look into getting it. Any advice? Is it easy to figure out how to use, set up, etc? What kinds of things can you do? I was just on their website and I didn't find it easy to figure out how it works... Thanks for any insight!

I think I hit my first stall....

by Honey Bee on 03-13-2013 at 08:47 AM
I'm 2 weeks out and I have lost 16 pounds which is incredible! But I think I may be at a stall. The scale has been moving every single day but it hasn't for the last several... oh well, i'll just keep plugging along and wait until it's over. I start pureed foods next week, so I wonder what that will do.
