Acid Reflux/Heartburn

Its been 2 months now since my surgery and i have been having the worst acid reflux/heartburn with almost everything i eat ( just eating meats and a few vegs, not even on a regular diet yet) even with taking zantac, just switched to prilosec. Does anyone have anyother suggestions? My Dr. did say when he opened me up i had less of esophagus in my stomach then the normal patient but the only cause would be reflux.
