So I had a week long business trip and then a very busy week at work, then got sick, and my son broke his wrist... all of these are my reasons for not logging in and keeping up with this site. Which I really need to get back into because this is my only real support group! And I am a very big believer in support groups of like-minded folks with the same goals and challenges. So I am back. I have also not been logging my food on myfitnesspal.com which I had been very faithful about doing. So,

Today has been a little hard. I have felt very emotional and sad...I think I am missing food! It has been a really stressful week at work and usually I would have gone out to lunch a couple of times and maybe even out to eat at night with the family. Its just really easy right now, I like the routine. I am very happy about my weight loss so far. And the best thing is knowing that it will continue.

I am able to eat slightly thicker liquids now, but not very much at a time. After being sick on Monday, I am careful now to make sure I get a few carbs in each day. How weird is that?? Counting carbs to make sure I get enough?? I love this!
I am slowly reentering my life.. first day back at work yesterday, went around saying hi to everyone and checking in... I am very lucky to work with such a supportive group of people. Some asked a few questions, but mostly I just gave my spiel of

I am going to make a list of all of the things that I have read on these pages that I can expect to happen during my first few months post op. Then I am going to put those on a bingo card and that way I will be happy and excited when something happens, good or bad, because I will be filling my bingo card up! Here is what I have so far:
You don't look big enough to have that surgery.
I'm not going to like you when you are skinny.
I don't know what I am going to do when
