Hi I've suffered from Fibro for over 12 months, I see a rheumatologist who's helped a great deal with pain management. Whatever you do- don't take Tramadol for pain relief; it's so addictive that when I stopped taking it I felt like I was gonna die! I weaned myself of & actually feel better without it. I'm hoping that when I've recovered from this surgery my Fibro will b the 1st thing to go... after the kilos & all of the old 'fat girl clothes' that is. Hang in there, it'll get better xxx

Thank you for your encouragement- you are one of the reasons I love this site. My hubby just doesn't get it; he said to me today that I'm stupid if I even think about food at this stage. I replied- "I have not EATEN for 8 days, could you even imagine that?" So he says "I love soup". Ahhhh men

damn annoying condition one of the reasons for the surgery. Im struggling really badly with it at the moment. Had the Worst leg pain can hardly walk some days, Had my neck and should completely seized up for weeks. I have read there is an improvement with the weight loss. Since im to scared to exercise this is a good option to get me moving again. I am worried about the pain after surgery. I had my gall bladder out the year before last and spent more days in for the pain. Didint know I have the fibro then. Just thought I was a wuss...

Hi there Tracey. Co-incidence reading your Hello post you mentioning Fibromyalgia. OUCH!! just had the worst 3 weeks of it. Bugger!! at least it won't kill us though huh!
