Just wondered how you were doing these days now almost 5 months out?

Melody! Hey girl! I am discouraged this week. According eithe scales I have gained 2 pounds and I am so aggravated considering I mainly drink protein shakes cuz j can't handle much solid food without puking. Did you have any weeks u stalled or gained?

Girl! My gas pain Is horrendous!!!!! You look fabulous!!!!!!

Melody, can I ask you a question? I just read on here about the gal that didnt get to be sleeved because of the size of her liver. The Dr. told me 5 day liquid diet, but I eat alot of carbs also, I am going to try 10 days and hopefully solve that problem.....but, I have read many times on this site about people being on pre-op diets that arent liquid, no carbs and no sugars, high protein, is this something you had to do, did I miss something that Dr. Alamanza is telling people to do but fo got to tell me, or is it because the people posting are all using different doctors and that is just the way their doctors do things???? I think maybe i need to do low carb, low fat, no sugar, high protein for the month of July leading up to my liguid diet, do you think this will help??? I am terrifed that they wont sleeve me, there is no way my husband will let me buy 2more plane tickets from Montana to try again.

Do you have any advice> I am getting the gastric sleeve done by Dr. Almanza on Jan, 29th,2013. So in 8 days, and I am getting a little nervous. How long were you there for and how was it crossing the boarder over to Mexico>

LOVED Dr Alamnza, the President of the clinic/owner of hotel and every single one of his staff member. Mario was so sweet and friendly. Everyone of the staff was always smiling and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Almanza. Nurses was very much on demand 24-7. Excellent care. I'm doing wonderful. A little sore that's it. I never had any nausea or anything else. My incisions look great. I will have very little hardly any visible scarring. Everyone seemed to truly love their job. I would definitely go back to that clinic for anything.
