  1. Hope you are doing well
I'm about to hit 32weeks! I feel huge, nothing compared to a twin pregnancy I'm sure, but everyone says I look small. I don't know what that even means. "Look small" I look as though I have a melon of some sort strapped to my belly!! I think I still see myself a lot bigger than I truly am, and after going from being such a big girl to a decent average size, only to thicken around the middle again I very well may be scaring myself by over thinking how big I look. I have gained, and that's ok! My dr is 100% ok with the weight I've put on so far. By now I would have been told to slow down, watch what I'm eating, I was gaining too much all that. I still have a *slight* restriction but nothing compared to how it pre-pregnancy and during my first trimester. I've heard that restriction returns right after birth. Which is fine by me! I doubt that a growing womb can cause the portion of my stomach that was removed to grow back

I hope you are doing amazingly.

I NEED to know, boys or girls?!?!

I am having a boy Jaxon Ray

Looking forward to an update, but totally understand how INSANE life gets especially when expecting (and you're expecting twice as many!!)

    bestnester...
Hello! You have lost a considerable amount of weight and look very healthy. Can I ask.. Did you have a problem with loose skin? I am so worried about this because I can't afford to pay for plastic surgery. I am afraid that I not like the way my body looks, even after everything. I've read that there's alot of variables involved as to wether or not you skin will tighten up. I already have wings under my arms and fear that once the fat is gone the skin will just hang there. Thanks.

Hello! You look great! How are you feeling?
  7. Wow! What a inspiration you are. I had my surgery 7/22/2013 and feel like I've done well. I'm going through the longest stall since I started and feel like I want to scream. You have done amazing and any advice you have would be more than welcome! Beside watching carbs, drinking 64 oz of water daily and upping your protein I'm not sure what else to do! Whatever your doing has to be what works. I guess we have to just wait it out. Best of luck to you!!

Hi congrats on the 100 # marker!!! Super awesome!!! I'm down 65.5 since July. Can you share what your nutritionist told you? My husband actually changed jobs shortly after my procedure and I don't get follow up visits with my nutritionist.? It would really help me out.

Hey I came across one of your posts about eating every 2-3 hours.. our weights are very similar.. I'm only a week out but dream to have the success you did! Any recommendations? If you can remember what you did starting out... And is that your little boy? I have an 8 month old.. I'm going crazy not being able to pick him up! Lol
    Good job you're doing awesome!

I'll actually be 4 weeks out tomorrow and a month out on Friday. My highest weight ever was 365; however, the day of my surgery I was 327. I'm now 299 and have been for a week now. I've hit the dreaded stall. So far I've just been walking about 30 minutes to an hour a day 4-5 days a week. Some days it's a struggle getting all of my protein in and water, but I'm working on it.

13 Months Post Op, 9 Weeks Pregnant AND...

by bestnester on 03-18-2014 at 09:58 AM
Hello fellow sleeve members! It's been a month since I last posted telling you all that I was expecting our third child! It's been a month full of nausea, but managed easily with meds. Thank heavens! Something that scared me the most was that I was nauseous for months after my surgery and I was scared to feel that again. I'm on Phenegran and it works well for me.

So onto the BIG NEWS!!!!!!

I was up all Sunday night with cramping. No spotting, just uncomfortable cramps.

A Special Gift on My 1 year Anniversary

by bestnester on 02-15-2014 at 09:45 PM
I celebrated my one year anniversary on Thursday. I had felt off the past week, and found out why.

I took a pregnancy test Valentines Day morning and low and behold I'm expecting my third child! We wanted to start trying in January, but with my previous child it took 9 months to conceive and we expected at least a few months of trying. But, I guess this 152 lb lighter person is healthier and more fertile hahaha

My due date is October 24th, will see a doctor

Guess Who Made it to Her 1 Year Anniversary?!? SW: 336 LBS

by bestnester on 02-13-2014 at 03:03 PM
Exactly one year ago I had my sleeve surgery. I can still remember that day vividly. Each hour felt like days, and now each day flies by like weeks. I love how the majority of us call our surgery a "journey" because that is completely how I have viewed it from the beginning.

Many of you have followed my journey, and I thank you. Each encouraging word, every smiley face, every "like" has been a reason I've come out of this a happier person. Support is crucial,

Help Me Lose These Last 20 LBS

by bestnester on 02-12-2014 at 01:53 PM
Here's a little history:

Pre-Op: 336 lbs
Current Weight: 184
Total Weight Lost: 152
Celebrate my one year mark tomorrow!

I can't lose these last 20-30 lbs to save my life!! With my intense workouts I'm not seeing my scale budge. Although my actual body is shrinking and tightening. With such a high weight loss in a years time extra skin is a huge painful reality. Taking that in to account I wonder if the body just reaches a point where it's content.
