Thank you Amber...Congrats to you as well....it is very exciting isn't it. I find myself just spending my time getting mentally and emotionally prepared for my break up with food....looking forward to letting go and flying free again!!

It's been three weeks since I had surgery and I've lost 21 pounds so far. The last week, I've been stalled. Don't be scared. It is safe and clean. Tell your partner to research and read this site with you. I am 46 yrs old and the last time I was in TJ, was almost 20 years ago. It is very different now. It's much cleaner and safer. The hotel you'll be staying in is surrounded by police, as the police station is near there. You can walk around freely, no problem. You are correct, you will be fine. you'll never pay less in the states for this procedure, especially for all that is included. IT'S WORTH IT!

Hi Amber! I see that you too, are going to Dr. Almanza. You won't be sorry. I was there three weeks ago and I had a great experience. It's over lickety-split. And then, all of the sudden, you're on your way to melting in your skin....all the while, feeling like you didn't even have surgery. Amazing. I am stall for the last week, but hoping that this coming week is my 'breaker', lol. Are you married? Going with someone to Mexico, or alone? I envy you... I wish I could have done this when I was younger. Although I really didn't need it until I was about 30. Oh well, I guess later is better than never.
