It's been a long time. How are you doing? I'm down about 90 ish lbs. I feel better but I still feel big.

Hi How are you doing? My weight has seemed to slow down. I'm having a hard time fitting in the walking but my doctor said to try Yoga. I see you are losing a lot. Congrats!!

Hi there and thank you!! Today marks Day 3 of the pre-op diet and while I'm hungry, I can already see the benefits, as I'm down like 3 lbs in the first 2 days! Just a little over a week to go and luckily, I should be fairly busy this week, so that should help keep my mind off it a bit and the time go faster. So glad to hear you're doing well - I can't wait to be almost a month out like you!!

I haven't done the protein yet but I know I should. I am having issues of trying to figure out the 2 hungers too. I'm so used to snacking all day now the snacks that I can have (jellos, puddings, etc) don't appeal to me much. I'm trying to put myself on a daily schedule to manage my time a little better to include walking and eating. The problem I have is that when I get really hungry, I start to feel nauseated. Have dealt with this for the past few years now, and now post surgery, I'm afraid to get to that point. I have had a few oops moments like trying to eat what I'm not supposed to, and having it get stuck. It hurts waiting for it to pass. But I have learned my lesson lol

Hey u... Im doing well also...still on the liquids myself...pudding jello...protein shakes <barf> lol I have my first followup this fri so im not going to hit the scale till then....i want an early xmas present....been battleing the head hunger and actual hunger...have u had any of that

Just dropping in to say hello. How are you feeling since your surgery? It's been a week for us both yay! I'm feeling better from the pain, but the liquid diet is kicking my butt lol. First I hear only clear liquids for 2 weeks, but the paperwork I was given said I can have other things like puddings, custards, ice cream, cream of wheat etc, so naturally i'm a little confused. Anyhow, I hope you're doing well and everything went well with your surgery. Have a great night!

How are you doing? I had mine a few days after yours and I am doing wonderful. I'm still drinking liquids...the doctor said for two more weeks. wow...but I don't feel hungry. I wish you well.

Once I made my decision I decided to read only what I have doubts or questions. I am an analytical person and could spend my days here but have too much to do before next Monday... You will be FINE and hopefully me as well!!

I need to keep in the right frame of mind because I really need to make this happen in a positive way... thanks for being there for me and maybe we all can help each other get through these rough times....

I know, the pro's and con's are frightening. But I will level w/you, it's NOT easy. Everybody is different so try not to compare. Just don't go into it expecting it to be a breeze, because it's not. Just be honest w/yourself and feel the way you want to feel and not the way some of these post say you should be feeling. I am 30days out and STILL have mixed emotions, but I know this was probably the best choice for me. plz know, I am here and will be thinking about you as your day draws near. will gladly talk/listen to you anytime!
