Today is day 2, I was sleeved yesterday. I was in surgery at 9:15am and back in my hospital room by 3:15pm. Dr Aceves did my procedure. Nothing is rushed you feel so comfortable. Anesthesia game me some versed. The next thing your awake. I received pain meds and medication for nausea right away.

I feel like there is a lot of gas, pain meds keep your pain away. Another patient from Seattle, my sleeve partner, had her hiatal hernia repaired for free. We both had our leak test using blue dye this morning. Now we are sipping Gatorade. I have a lot of belching.

The knowledge that the hard part of this procedure is still a head of me, I must eat healthy, limit my quantity sizes and eat slow is big challenge. But one I am prepared for.

I'll be sure to share my experience with you. Where are you coming from? I'm familiar with Mexicali. My family lives locally about 30 min away on the US side. I'll be staying with them a few days after surgery then back home for me.
