So now that I'd recommitted as I said in my last post or 2, it's amazing that I've lost another 7 yes 7 lbs more to hit 181lbs. It's a testament to ones conviction I'd say. Like if you need proof, test yourself for a week and don't lie to yourself and see what happens. I haven't seen that number since 2004. 9 years. It is soo inspiring me --i just cant wait to do another week of positive choices at every moment -- just to SEE what happens in one more week!

So I use this amazing app called MyFitnessPal which is easy, fast, intuitive and so useful to know what exactly you are putting into your body, from protein % to nutrients - all with goals you can set yourself. Why is it then that it feels like such a chore to do so? i'm coming to the hard slow conclusion that it's because we dont really want to face/admit/quantify what we actually put in our mouths.

Day 1 of the new recommitment.
It's now been 7 months since VGS and down 49lbs to be exact and honest. i say 50 to be quick, but truthfully it's not 50 yet. i lost 40lbs in the first 3 months and have been ever so slowly losing and not losing and just maintaining. Which given the way i have been eating/snacking/tasting/drinking - is a good thing. i am happy that i have not gained any weight and been eating mostly what i want.
