Hello I had my surgery -gastric sleeve in Mexico Sept 2011. I am still having surgeries to correct problems from that surgery. I had a LEAK at the clinic in Mexico. They kept me longer and tried to repair. Problem is that the doctor wanted me to stay longer but administration wanted me to be sent back to Canada. I had horrible painful trip home. Two days later via ambulance I was taken to hospital five hours away from my home for yet another LEAK repair. Stayed in hospital month. Almost did not
I am so thankful for this thread (even with the name calling and whatever). I am starting on week six post sleeve and have also been on an emotional roller coaster. I really miss food, I hate barfing and slimeing. I want to eat what I ate before but it is of course impossible. The idea of no turning back is very scary. I researched the hell out of the surgery before I did it and had a six month waiting period with visits to a dozen drs to get clearance. I was not really prepared for the reality
Congrats to you on your attempt to stop smoking.. If the Chantix agrees w/you thats awesome!!!! May have to just "practice" quitting a couple of times. after all, i had to practice to become a smoker, only stands to reason that we would have to practice quitting Good luck!!
