I WISH I could have a salad..yummm..I can't have ANY food at all. I drink 4 shakes a day. period. Lots of water and usually 2 Popsicles a night for the sweetness. I try to keep my stomach full with water (crystal lite added to it is good). What is in your choc and peanut butter shakes?? Love both of them. I'm a bit crabby so I tell my friends not to come over..I will probably be mean to them! I just want to be alone with my miserable self. I have a crazy job as well in a busy inter city hospital. I got so excited because I already have one surgery buddy...she and I are having surgery in Puerto Vallarta and have become fast friends and support systems. I thought maybe you were our 3rd Mexico Muskateer!Regardless, we are all in this together!
I have done fairly well on my pre op diet. I am allowed 3 protein shakes and a salad with protein and light drsg each day so I havent had the "NO FOOD" experience just yet. 3 days pre op is clear liquids and then into surgery I go! I have lost 10 lbs in the last 10 days and only really had a rough time-dizzy, hard time focusing on the first day and then a couple of days ago. My bod is definately detoxing from carbs and dairy.. They used to be my 2 fav things on the planet!!! I am wrapping up work stuff-just today and tomorrow before I am out for 3 weeks! I am a nurse manager and have a super stressful on call 24/7 day job. Looking forward to time to take care of me! I hate that you are having such a hard time at night! What are you allowed? I do a choc and peanut butter shake before bed. I drink a ton of water-even tho it means i get up to pee in the night. I used to like a big bowl of cereal before bed to fill my stomach. Bad habit...replacing with shakes now. It seems to be working! I also look at before/after pics on this site and verticalsleeve.com and watch YOUtube videos from others who have gone thru the experience. It helps to stay focused!

Hello my sleeve buddy....we are getting sleeved on the same day. I thought we would go through the LAST week and misery together!!! I made it through the first week of no food!! I NEVER thought I could do it. I'm down 12 lbs but STARVING!!!! I pace the house at night (my worse time) fighting with my hunger.
