If you look at the pictures posted, its one the 2nd page of photos, I think number 35. It shows Eddie standing with 2 people in front of the hotel. Eddie is wearing a black "messenger" style bag. His wife had the sleeve by Dr. Quinones last week and Eddie will be having it shortly!! He knows all the Dr's in TJ and he says Dr. Quinones is the best! I have to agree!

Hi, Eddie drives a black Mazda minivan. Call him as soon as you step outside the airport and tell him what gate you are at. He will be there in minutes! I didn't take a picture of Eddie, but there is a picture of him on Dr. Quinones page. I'm trying to send you a copy of it if I can figure out how!

We made it to the airport almost 2 hours early. We never asked or needed any assistance or wheel chairs. We enjoyed walking and made sure we bought a water bottle for the trip home.

Ever since returning home, I have been able to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. I was a little sore if I had to bend over or getting up and down. Today is 8 days post op and we haven't taken any pain medicine in 4 or 5 days. The soreness is almost completely gone! Now its just focusing on getting in the liquids and as much protein as we can. We have had no problem with water or hot or cold drinks.

We are both 100% satisfied with our surgeries and with Dr. Quinones and his staff. The recovery time has been very minimal and we are both losing weight. Dr. Quinones showed us the DVD of each of our surgeries. He is very personable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I know we made the right choice with him.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I apologize for the delay, but we are self employed and had to work 12 hour days yesterday and today. I think I'm going to bed early tonight!!

The next day Eddie picked us up and took us the the hotel. Alma met us there, made sure we had ice and extra towels and everything we needed. She also took my husband to the Pharmacy to get our prescriptions. I showered and took a nap. Later we walked the hotel, went out on the terrace and watched some more TV. Henry stopped by the hotel (He had been on vacation in Las Vegas). He told us about the hotel's chicken broth so we ordered a bowl (we shared the bowl and still didn't even eat 1/4 of it). My husband asked where to buy bottled water and Henry went and got us 2 huge bottles of water.
The last day Alma met us in the lobby. We went down to see if the free breakfast had any juice. Alma asked us if we wanted to go sightseeing or shopping, but since my husband had a broken foot, we declined. At 1:00 Eddie picked us up from the hotel and we headed towards the border. It took us about 90 minutes to get through the border. Once we made it to the border check, we were cleared through right away.

Dr. Quinones came in and spoke with us and answered all the questions we had. I went first and walked into the operating room. After laying down on the table, the next thing I remember is waking up back in my room. I was sore, but the pain was bearable. I slept off and on. Once my husband was out of surgery, we both walked the halls later that evening.
The next day was more of the same. Sleeping, walking, watching some TV. That night, I had some severe reflux and the gas pressure / soreness was really getting to me. I was able to speak with Dr. Quinones and he was able to give me meds and soon I was comfortable and sleeping.

Hi! My husband and I both had the sleeve on Jan 2. Our flight from Texas to San Diego was delayed almost 2 hours, but India and Henry were able to let everyone know. Once we finally made it to the San Diego Airport, Eddie (the driver), was ready and waiting for us. We made it to the Santa Fe Clinic in about 35 - 40 minutes. Once there we were greeted by Alma. We filled out paperwork, had our blood drawn and changed into the hospital gowns.
