I never had problems with my riches because I never covered them with anything. Once I got home the bandages came off and all I used was a pray bottle with alcohol. When you cover scars like that, they can get infected. Mine are healing nicely.
I am doing really well. I had to only do 3 days preop so I was 233 when I started, 227 day f surgery, and 214 now. In two weeks, that's pretty good. What I am happy bout s that the weight will keep dropping thought I'm worried sometimes that I could gain again or will just lose this much and no more. My friend, who had the surgery in June lost about 80 lbs so far. Amazing!
  5. Yeah I know shame on me but its whats best for him is what matters. Keeping my love safe & healthy is my objective. He lost 30lbs since 2 week pre op diet. That's 20 lbs since surgery! I'm amazed & can't wait to get my man back! He has changed into a depressed man for the last 2 years.3 years ago he was wearing a 2x, he is a big guy & now when we look at those pictures those shirts were entirely to big! Well, now he wears a 6x and bigger. He doesn't go anywhere cause he wont buy clothes cause it disgust him & all. How are things for you weight wise & health wise? Any suggestions ob vitamins & such? Or food choices or advice period? It's great to have the wise ones around!
  6. Hey,we are doing great. Lots of adjusting though. He had his stitches removed last Thursday big mistake! Someone else told us it'd be better to do it a week after instead on 10 days So we went ahead and listened. The doctor said it was ok. In a way I think it was bad & in another i think it was ok He never had ANY leakage as we were told he would. When the doctor removed them stitches from where the drain was OMFG I went everywhere! I was dying to come out. But the cut was wide wide wide about 2-3 inches wide and about 1-2 inches deep! I don't do very well with massive amounts of blood so I just about puked everywhere! We are just now coming to the point of leaving the steri strips off the 4 little cuts. Still keeping the big 'em covered though. Especially since he started work today. He is the boss which is a good thing. We even have had his employee come do some stuff around the house so John wouldn't & to keep the guy working. Food choices are getting tough but I think it'll get easier. I'm trying to keep him as liquid as possible cause he is a cheating fool when it comes to food. So I'm going to have to make restrictions and lie my butt off about what the internet says (lol).

Hi there to the two of you! How are you? John, how is the eating going? Since I had a band before, I chew everything to death and eat super slow so I started having some very soft chicken yesterday. Nd cottage cheese. I also had my stitches removed yesterday. I'm really happy with the sleeve, much happier than when I had the band!

About Paillot's SweetPotato
Sleeved or not sleeved:
I have had a gastric sleeve.
Biography:
I'm Theresa (SweetPotato)32, Paillot's fiance (26). John & I have known each other since 1990ish. We have been together since Sept of 2009. When we first got together John was around 260 lbs. Within these 3 years he has got all the way to almost 350lbs. John's Grandmother had the band, his Mother has had the band and then a sleeve, his cousins wife has also had the band then sleeve and now she just had a Mommy Make over (she is looking amazing). Prior surgery, John has suffered from severe heartburn and acid refux. He also suffers for a love of eating foods and apparently my home cooking foods at that. His family has been major supporters and influences on getting the sleeve done. I can't wait to see the results and get my SEXY POSITIVE FIANCE back. To me it's not about the weight it's about his happiness cause lately he hasn't been the same, although I know I'll also enjoy his weight loss as well. I know that I won't get this back unless he loses this weight .
