As a nurse (in the US I am assuming), what are the differences in having the surgery in the US, to in Mexico. Are their regulations that different?

I think you asked what will help with gas pains. I replied walking will help as well as putting a heating pad on your abdomen. I asked if you have a heating pad with you. I'm really glad you found your passport! Hope your recover goes smoothely.
