Just wanted to send you some good wishes as you are preparing to fly out for your surgery. I know that a young strong man like you will do great and have fantastic success. After the surgery I know you will feel good and want to get back to the old routine. So I am going to do the grandma thing and tell you to take it easy, relax and let your body heal. Don't push yourself at first. It's OK to let your loved ones baby you for a little while.

Well, all in all I give the whole experience a big thumbs up! Are you going through A Lighter Me? If so, they will take excellent care of you. Our driver took us shopping and out to eat three days after surgery. THe Marriott was lovely. My surgeon was GREAT. My recovery has been very good. I have some gas pain, but not much. I think that is because I tried really hard to stick to the pre op diet. By now you should be close to doing clear liquids for a few days before surgery, correct? Really try to stick to it....if you don't have all of that food in your system recovery is much easier. Am feeling kind of tired, but that's to be expected I suppose! I think i"ve already lost some weight....not surprising since I have eaten very little since last Wednesday...and I'm not hungry! I did not wear any of the capri pants I took....mostly sweats and an oversized shirt at the hospital and my biggest jeans afterwards. Be sure to bring a big safety pin to pin your little drain bag to your clothes so it doesn't just hang out for everyone to see! Bring some cash for tips too.... Hi John! Make sure you take earplugs or something that makes white noise...it can get noisy. Warmer clothes too...it was surprisingly chilly to me. Good luck!

Thanks for your well wishes. I'm here at the Marriott in Tijuana....so far everyone has been GREAT! They're treating me like a queen! Met some other ladies who are leaving tomorrow after being sleeved on Monday and they're doing very well. Glad to see you got your surgery rescheduled....a week from tomorrow! hope you enjoyed your turkey today....I had nothing but chicken broth and juice all day....not hungry...just head hungry I guess. Yes that absolutely is the same doctor and dates. It would be great to meet at the hotel after we are all done with surgery. I am going with my boyfriend and his Mom and they are having surgery too!!!
